Photographer Comment: This is one of my few straight shots. Although I took it a couple of years ago when the wildflowers were at their peak at Death Valley, I've never shown any of the photos before. One problem there is that the atmosphere has lots of dust because of the dryness, which desaturates the colors and produces haze. I've adjusted the exposure several times..
