Photographer Comment: I think it's the right time now to explain my primary motivation for publishing this pic (I encourage viewers to continue to express what they feel about it and add to the value the photo could have to our ways of thinking). Light and darkness can be based on perception. In this photo, what I'm saying is that the times when we find, seek and reflect light are those times when things around us seem dark; when we have no joy and vibrance. However, when we are in a place of joy, vibrance and have options, we often see only the dark things and eventually do things that lead to darkness. I'm emphasising that we as humans see things backwards; when we are in a place of joy and vibrancy, instead of us seeing the light and radiating more light or seeking to maintain the light we already have, we get caught up in things that bring darkness to our worlds. .
