Photographer Comment: Sometimes the small and cheap things in our own house are a real Arts Paradise(s) of light and design. Thanks to the photography, we discovers the beautiful things in our life and in our living, also thanks the excercices. This photograph was made this late evening in my little living with a teleobjective 70-200 mm - distance 138 mm - f.5,6 - ISO 800 - 1/25 sec - Raw with greycard - natural light (only one living spot above the composition). No flash was used, no filters. I used a background but my épouse was for looking to the TV! I think that every house is a daylight- or an eveninglight studio (it was evening with a warm spotlight and therefore I used a greaycard and than I changed the Kelton in more or less “daylight” – with the Capture One 4). Large investments are often superfluous to make simply photographs. I wanted accentuate the middle Karaffe with the collier. A teleobjective has been also arranged for the DOF and also on shorter distances with for ex. f.4 or a little more. The distance between the left and right karaffe is less than 15 inches. I have not set up the floors of the Karaffes. The viewer must try to discover the plan (the place of the Karaffes) by itself. I have put, however, sharply on the karaffe with collier. I hope that you get the photograph and that we all have together learned something with this exercise.
