Photographer Comment: I was unsure if I should have submitted this as a color or a black and white image. My friend prefers this the quality of the black and white photograph. caption After a long and trying process, a close friend of mine and her husband were finally able to adopt a new born baby girl this past week. As I saw them today, on New Year's day - finally a complete family, I saw the expression of contentment and hope mark all their gestures..
