Photographer Comment: I always wanted to give a rose to my wife but the vision I had in mind was not in the market. One morning while in Washington, DC I walk around the park and my attention was caught by this lone beautiful rose surrounded by tall trees in on open overcast sky. I had envision to create a painterly look of the rose with its surrounding with the line created by the stem. Nikon F100, 80-200mm (at 200mm), f2.8 and 1/60..
