Assignment 27:
Deadline: April 15, 2008
Assignment 27: Self-Portrait (Closed)
We have a lot of new members, so it's time once again for everyone to meet each other. Show us your best side or, more importantly, show us that part of your personality that might even be hidden from yourself. Be dramatic, be creative, and delve deep. We don't have to know so much what you look like as who you really are.
All Workshop and Showcase members are eligible to participate and may submit one entry per assignment.
If you would like comments on work-in-progress, upload your assignment images to your Critique page and make note of the fact in the Comment field that the image is under consideration for the assignment. You may upload as many entries as you wish in order to receive critiques and comments. When you decide on the entry you wish to submit officially, click the link below.
You may only submit one final entry.

Often-Asked Questions:
May we use an image editing program to enhance our images? The digital age is here and the lines are being drawn as to where photography ends and something else altogether begins. We'll stay out of the fray and suggest that you may use whatever tools you feel are necessary to complete the assignment in the style and manner you are accustomed to.
Will Robert critique all the images submitted? Due to the volume of submissions, only the six top-placed winners receive critiques from Robert.
How many images are chosen for display? We select six top entries and a select number of honorable mentions.
May old images be submitted? Assignment images, in the spirit of a true workshop, should not be pulled from existing stock images. Naturally, we have no way of policing such a policy nor is it our desire to do so. But you will learn more by photographing a new image rather than relying on a pre-existing one.
I had trouble uploading my image and missed the deadline. Am I out of luck? If you experience technical problems while trying to meet the deadline, email your image as an attachment.
