Although I think the composition is quite nice, in order the better see how the light falls on this little girl I would have chosen to crop this one, I think the lighting is good though.

I would crop it a bit too, just a bit off the bottom and the right side, keeping the shadow intact.  I like how the sun falls on her face and I like the background in the shot.  It really tells a story.
