Although I've seen much better photo's here (unless there aren't many photo's posted yet unfortunately), I do want to post a photo for this assignment. I loooooove interior design and I put a lot of work (and creativity ;-) ) into the bedroom of my children, but my daughters bedroom is my favorite. So what better place to photograph my daughter then in her own bedroom. I took just over 80 pictures (on about 5 different locations in her bedroom), but only the last twenty or there about, I 'played' with the aperture (I own a Nikon D70) and these turned out somewhat better than the rest. Taking into account pose and everything, I think the three I will post here are the best ones....I cropped all three of them and did some 'toning' on the third one with the mirror.

Oh, yeah, in case you haven't noticed yet, I love pink too :-)

What FUN wallpaper!!!!  I love the mirror idea!  That's great!  Are you using the on-camera flash for these?  I have something called a Lightscoop that I really like to help reduce glare and shine while I save up for my Speedlite.  Grin

I love the mirror!  Do you have a step stool or something so she could be just a wee bit taller?? I'd love to see her whole face.  Bye the way can you come paint my room lke that?

Thanks for the comments! @ Sarah, unfortunately I still only have an on-camera-flash (first thing on my wishlist is a speedlight though). What is a lightscoop?
@ Catrina, stepstool is a good idea, I will try that (and clean her mirror before I take any more pictures  Wink ). And I'd love to come and paint a room in your house, but I don't think I live anywhere near you  Smiley.

A lightscoop is a cheap way of reducing flashiness and bouncing the light from your on-camera flash off a nearby light colored wall or ceiling.  It's not flawless, but I've had pretty good results.  You can find it on Amazon.  I can't afford a speedlight yet, so this is what I'm using in the interim.  It was a Christmas present. Thanks for your answer, now I understand what it is and how it can make pictures better!
