    The late Winter Sun
    Softly nudges Mother Earth
Whispering to her of Persephone's return.
She dreams of her Daughter and the arrival of Spring
And the simple beauty with them that they bring.

-the common Painted Pansy
-pink blush Dogwood
-creamy hue of a magnolia flower (M. acuminata 'Gold Star')
-vibrant raununculus
