I suppose with no photos to critigue or WA there's not much to talk about John.  I'm currently looking at other photo sites that have that feature.  Mark

I know, you right! I'm giving up here too. If you find a site that seems promising, please let me know. I'll do the same for you. Thanks for the response Mark. Hope that you're having good holidays. john

I'm disappointed.  True, it's the holidays, but there is so little happening here.  I miss the old PWS.  There was so much to do and learn.  I, too, have been looking for a site where there is active critiquing and interesting discussion.  Please, Mark and John, let me know if you find one.  I'll do the same.

Hi John and Diana,
I just found the myshutterspace.com site and it looks promising.  There are a couple of groups who do daily or weekly critque assignments.  I probably join the weekly group and/or the still life groups.  Check out the site and let me know what you think.  Mark

Thanks Mark, John and Jack.  I checked out my shutterspace and found it appealing.  I even joined and received a welcoming email from one of the other members.  I  gave a quick look at the other photo site Jack reccommended, but will have to explore further.

Thanks, Dan.  It does look good.  There seems to be some thoughtful discussion.

I have signed up on this site . . . http://www.lightstalking.com -- a range of experience represented as in the old PWS -- amateurs, beginners, pros, hobbyists etc. -- all with a passion for photography.

Forums are arranged as groups such as macro, black & white, panoramic, flowers, photo manipulation and so on. Not sure yet if that is site admin generated or if anyone can create a group but it is definitely an interesting approach. It helps if you have flicker for posting images in the forums. Posting images in the forums requires the use of HTML code, that's kind of clumsy, at least for me as I am flickr-less and not sure I need yet another location to be uploading images and keeping track of . . . but you also get an album for uploading your images and I haven't tested but imagine that you can post images from your album into a forum thread. Also not sure at this point if there is a limit to the number of images allowed in your personal album.

Constrain images to 500px in any direction -- not much info on this but that is what I have been able to figure out -- at least in the album. If you are linking in a forum post via Flickr or another photo sharing site, it appears you can go larger than 500px.

I'm registered there as fotostalker as well . . .

Peace,
Dan
