The New Photoworkshop.com comment and uploading images?

I've been a member from Aug, 1996. I have allowed my participation on the web site to lapse over the past year or so for a number of reasons.
I was totally surprised to find the site has changed in so many ways. I'm not too sure I like what I see so far. Getting around is not intuitive and there is way too, too much reading to do and not enough photographs to view, study, and learn from. However, I will be patient and do my best to find my way around. Perhaps when Workshop Central and Photo Ap Central come online it might be more interesting.
My first question to anyone who cares enlighten me is how does one upload images for general viewing and/or critic. Kind of like what we had in the old bio and visual pages.

Hi Walter,
The former community of photo enthusiasts involved with Photoworkshop has disintegrated. The portfolio feature no longer exists on PWS. All of us lost our portfolios when the site crashed/disappeared/who knows what, last October. The site was offline for several weeks. PWS did arrange for members to have a free trial portfolio on livebooks.com. There is no more weekly assignment feature. You can still post images on the new forum feature, but it is not as easy or intuitive as before and there is very little participation. Basically, the former community on PWS has gone away. A lot of us have sought out new photo community sites. Some of us have joined myshutterspace.com. I have been pleased with it so far. Others have mentioned photo.net. I hope this is informative. Mark
