The everyday grinding drive to work takes me close to passing this little jewel of a lake (Hasmer Lake) as I am about to get onto the expressway for my 45 min. commute into the city. I needed to slow down life's pace.  I made it a point for the weekend to photograph this beautiful, tranquil spot on a warm, moody, September morn.

Very nicely composed.  I think I'd feel like stopping in on the way to work if I drop past that everyday.

Thank you, Goldcoast.......Often times we take for granted what we see everyday.

That is the one thing I really find photography helps with - it makes you slow down and really see everything around you.

Incidentally, you're on here a fair bit.  I'd recommend you join Cambridge in Colour as well as there are a lot more people there that participate to provide positive feedback on your photography.
