Nature Photography - Assignment 1

A favorite moment for me is at day break on the lake in my backyard. The cool air created fog which blocked much of the detail in the lake's background. The foreground is still a blueish, cool and with calm waters. The yellow tones of warm sun light are beginning to break through the trees on the right.
I was not so sure just how to post the first assignment and hope this works ... but I don't see the image in the preview screen. I do think the idea of reading, doing an assignment and getting feedback is very attractive.
If no image is present, would someone please let me know how to upload the image.
Thanks!

That's a lovely scene that you've captured. I can't help what was over to the left though - if it was more of the lake I think it would have added to the scene if you had included a bit more of the water. I think the negative space would have added to the serenity of your capture.

Really liked this shot; very quite and serene. As a paddler, especially love quiet water. Would have liked a little more water showing, I think.

I think I'll use Photoshop to strengthen the morning light in the tree tops. The subject is "Daybreak on Lake Wentworth" so the fog, the pink sky and the light coming from the sun are key elements ... not so much the lake. The feeling I tried to capture was the anticipation of the warm light that would beam on me when I rounded the point.
