Some great colours against the silhouette.  The overall layout of your composition looks good to. The thing I would probably say is that simple is often better.  With your shot, I'm not sure what the focus of your photo is  - is it your friend, the tree, or the sun flare coming through the trees?  My eye is mostly drawn to the tree which looks majestic against the sky's colours but I've found sun flare and your friend positioned so close to the tree pulling my attention away from the tree.

What are your feelings on your photo?  Are you happy with the way it turned out?

thank you very much for your comment. in that moment, i think it's a good idea to put human into the photo, but then i realized now that the 3 points of interest distract the audience to move around and yet it is quite difficult to decide the real point of interest.

at the beginning, i was happy with it. but now, i found myself have a better understanding to make a simpler yet more attractive photo.

I agree with you on having the person in the photo.  I think it's just that sun flare that tends to distract your attention from the silhouettes.  Other than that I think it's a great shot!

Hi Esutanto - Love the colors in the photo and the silhouette. I think the picture would have been better without the silhouette of your friend. Where was this picture taken and what was the camera mode (auto or manual)?

By the way my name is Judy and welcome to the workshop.
