hi dpoulin - i just joined and started reading exposure myself. so for what my limited qualifications have to offer i think your shot is exposed very nicely. i was wondering if you shout in automatic mode and in any case what kind of equipment you used. i'll be posting my take at assignment 1 later today and look forward to your comments!

p.s. also, what part of the world do you live in?

Exposure looks about right although you could probably go a little brighter if you wanted to depending on the mood you're trying to create.
Two things for me - the first is that the bricks and the line at the bottom of the crypt aren't quite horizontal - not sure if you were going for that deliberately but you could probably rotate it a little clockwise to make the crypt appear more 'level'.
The other question I had was what you wanted the main subject of your photo was. The door of the crypt really stands out for me because of its colour against the crypt.
Cheers,
Malcolm

You are correct, a 1 degree right angle rotate, crop and the lines are straight. I tried 1, 1.25, 1.5, and 2 degrees of angle. The 1 degree was best. Doug
