This picture was taken in La Jolla, CA at the "Children's Pool". The Children’s Pool is a protective cove where seals come to mate in their natural habitat and raise their pups. I love going to this beach, because you can see wildlife at it finest. The picture was taken with my Canon EOS Rebel T1i, 200 mm, f5.6, 1/640 sec.

Yes they are  . I spent hours at this beach just taking pictures of these seals on the beach, rocks, and ocean. Every time, I am in CA - I want to go to this beach to see the seals in their natural habitat.
