Look at the things around you to create a new black-and-white image. This could be an image of something inside your home or apartment, something down the street, or a shot of your family.

The only requirement is that the subject be something nearby that you see often. Use some of the ideas discussed in this chapter about tones, shape, and contrast to locate things right under your nose that would make interesting photographs.

The smokehouse in this image is not far from my home. The tones and texture were created by the light just before sunrise. This photograph was taken with an exposure of ISO 400, f/5, and 1/125 second.

You will be amazed at what you find when you look with black-and-white vision.

When you create a post there's an "Additional Options" link at the bottom left of the text box.  Click on the link and options will be expanded which include "Attach" with a "Choose File" button.  You can use that to attach images to your post.

Looks like you've got the hang of it.  I especially like the tree - nice contrasts and textures in that scene.
