Use backlight to create an interesting effect upon your subject. Experiment with your camera's light meter to capture the most attractive exposure. Post your favorite image and explain why this image appeals to you.

Maybe late in the week but I like this one. I was particularly pleased with the highlights on the man's hair, and with the way spot-metering for his face left his profile cut out against the overexposed sunlit pond.

Jim, I reworked the photo along the lines you suggeste. Also, I tweaked the colour balance (shock-horror, realised I had left it on 'fluo' from some previous shots in the kitchen)
