I am so used to using a flash that I found this one quite difficult!!!!!

I like the firswt one, but I think cropping it closer would bring our focus more on the subject (but I do love the serious expression in front of the bookshelf!).

The first 1 seems to have better window light,but the childs face seems to have a blur. I love the mood the second one seems to evoke.Makes you ponder what could be on the little guys mind. Great job on both pics.

thanks everyone I have to admit the second one is my favourite but I think thats because I know him and it's more him than the first one. NewMemories I did try cropping the first one but thought I lost the mood without the books in the background
