I am just wondering if the vast amounts of Posts about Infrared Photography here is an indication as to how popular Digital IR photography is.

Or

Is it an indication as to how popular the book is?

This is a shame really as I was looking forward to discussing IR photography, and especially I came here to learn Sad

Me too. I got to the end of chapter 1 and took a photo of a mountain in color, then in IR (f/8, 4 sec, 35mm Nikon D700 w/Hoya R72 filter). I'm new, so I'm going to try to figure out how to post these two and a B&W version of the IR photo (simple Photoshop grayscale mode). I don't have any idea how to do post processing yet.

The IR photo seems to have a softer focus look to it, compared to the color shot, but the top portions of the mountain look sharp.
