The first one was taken in low light without a flash, although the contrast might be a little low, I love it for the atmosphere it creates (even did a little post production to emphasize this somewhat more). But of course different opinions and tips and tricks to make it all better are more than welcome

I love them both, but I think the 2nd is my favorite.  I love the curve of the arms and the contrast in colors of the clothes.  It shows a real bond there.

The first one is great too.  I like b & w for dramatic effect, but I don't like how the heads are cut off. the composition other than that is wonderful!  I wish I could see more eyes though...

I do love that 2nd one.  Grin

great job!

I think I do see what you mean, it's just that only a little edge of their heads is cut off, this is how it was shot (I didn't crop), but maybe if I'd crop off just even a little more it might work better  Huh, just let me know what you think:

I love the first photo.  The tight shot emphasises their bond and makes we wonder what is so interesting!
The second photo is good, also.  Well done.

I think if you cropped equally on all sides it work work even better.  Let their faces, and not the game, fill the frame.  I like it better cropped, though. Smiley
