Let's not lose that aspect of PWS.  It was so helpful.  I've included one for critiques.

Diana: I'm not sure what's going on with this image, but when I click on it to enlarge, I get an enlargement that looks like it needs increased resolution. Maybe that's something you intended, but I can't tell. But, I like the image of the boy pouring his water back into the bottle. john

Hi John,

Thank you for taking a look.  I intend some painterly indistinctness, but I find that since the mp must be so low, it permits only a poor representation of the image.  I'm quite frustrated with this.  I don't know how we can critique images if we can't really see them.

Diana, I have the same problem John mentioned on the fuzzy image.  Like the idea of the image.  I want to keep the critique thing going too, but I'm not seeing much participation.  Maybe if we keep at it.  If you resize you image by making the longest dimension 550 mp it should load and have decent resolution, such as the image I'm posting now.  Mark

OK, now I see what you are attempting in the image.  And, the 750 mp will load well, too.

Hello Diana, thanks for the response. As I complained to Bernard elsewhere, one of the features of the old site that I sorely miss here is the email notice I got when someone posted a response to me. It alerted me to check out the response and to respond in kind if appropriate.  I'm wondering if the only satisfactory place (?) to post photos for critique will be in the Book section. I haven't checked that out yet. john
