since I joined post-editing has been suggested.I always thought that was like "cheating".But I guess its just using the resources available,to become a better photographer.

  Huh Nobody has convince me that, that is cheating... It is no different when in the film processing with different chemicals, paper, stacking negatives, etc. It is only using  different techniques that are available. Keep in mind that if you make perfect shot, you may still need some tweeting. I am not advocating rebuilding the image.
