Thanks for posting. I've really got to buckle down and learn the Lightroom method of retouching and break out of the Photoshop way of thinking when using it. Love LR3 for the global changes you can make to a lot of images simultaneously, the sorting, and catalogs, etc. It's been an integral part of my workflow since it came out and cut down the amount of work I do in Photoshop. The healing brush is easy enough to use.  But I've found the things like masking an effect as in the link to be a bit more challenging. Remembering the settings you used and then setting up the exact opposite to "mask" an effect isn't exactly user friendly. Maybe they'll incorporate a simple masking brush in LR4.

Of course this probably already exists and just I haven't figured it out!
