Chapter 6: traditional portrait

The style I prefer is the more traditional/ romantic style, but I must say, after having read the chapter and seeing the contemporary photograph I will try out that style in the future as well. Because I have little time and oppotunaty to scedule a photoshoot with another child then my own children, I took a picture I took a little over a month ago of my niece. Although this picture was taken without the knowledge I gained from this book, I think it worked out pretty well, except for the somewhat to harsh flash...

I see what you mean now. Filling the frame with more of the girl works much better.(dont remeber exactly if you told me that)But nice job on the portrait .

Thanks! Yes, I did, although New Memories was much more clear and straightforward with her remarks  .

I love this! the sepia works so well here and it makes you wonder what that little half smile is about. Beautiful
