Weekly Assignment: Creating a Mood with Window Light

Take a picture of someone or something near a window in diffused light without your flash. You want your subject to be well-exposed, although that might mean having dark areas in the room. Diffused light gives a soft light to the subject. You might also need to adjust your white balance as diffused light can give off a blue or greenish hue to your images.

I took this of a woman who wanted to do a pregnancy/valentine's shoot for her husband.  I had her head closest to the window and the light really highlighted her belly.

Thanks for the comment. My little saying, Have Fun, Learn, and Shoot a Lot, is what I ago with. I'm sure that PWS after completing their objective will get back into pace. They have a good start.
[color=red]Don't past pass up the Web on learnng. Lots of free information and techniques out there.[/color] Think about want to do and hit the Web to get help how to do it.
By the way, The PWS Book series is great, easy to read and understand, do the reading and shoot the assignments. I think some of the books are on sale now.
P.S. - Learn and shoot every feature that is on youe camera(s).
