Very nicely done....1)nice, sharp focus, 2)your background complements the color of the rose, and 3)the green sepals hug the pale yellow rose bud for a nice interest.

This was an assignment that took a while to do because I wanted to find the right picture. I took a road trip this past weekend to a wildlife park. On my journy I came across this park employee that was educating a group of people about cobra snakes. Now even though I am not a big fan of snakes, I still like getting photos of them time to time. No adjustments where made to the photo. Yes, a telephoto lens is a must when I am photographing those snakes.
Canon EOS Rebel T1i f/6.3 1/400s ISO 100 Metering Mode Spot Natural lighting Telephoto Lens. |

Thanks for showing and explaining about the extension tubes. I think, I have a new toy to reach for my camera.

Ok I took a couple of shots of my Lantana in my frony garden. The one with the extenxion tubes along with a Macro AF0.45X lens added on was at 2-3 inches away and the one without was at 4-6 feet away. Camera Model Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XS
Shooting Mode Shutter-Priority AE, Lens EF-S55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS.... Also it is very windy right now, so not the best work I can do. |

Here is my attempt at the black or white assignment. I choosed my rose picture from the "Your Favorite Assignment", because the picture had a black background and the rose was lite up by window lighting. Tought with the bright red color, nice lighting and dark background that it would make a nice black and white photo. Let me know what you think.
