I like the third picture and I think it is the best of the lot. The DOF is great and I love the bee which you incorporated. The other Daisy's have too shallow a DOF though, but this third one is good. The picture with the fence post and Thistle begs for a subject in the middle. I am drawn there but find only a branch with no meaning. If something was only there. I think the picture is framed nicely

On a Tributary of the Ocmulgee River in Juliette GA down by where the Whistle Stop Cafe is located. I was working with slowing down the motion of the river. Then I was surprised by these Geese that decided to come watch what I was doing.

Tv: 4, Av: 5.6, ISO: 100, Lens 50-200mm, Focal Length 87.0 mm

There is something about the light quality in the Lake District that really saturates colors.

I really like the second and third photos.  Both are well composed, restful images in which you appear to have exposure and depth of field near optimum.

The second photo is predominately two contrasting textures/colors of the green to yellow grass and brown (bracken covered?)  hills with leafless trees.  The diagonals of the stone walls add dynamic interest and mimic the lines of the background hills.
In the third photo, the morning sunlight playing across the land and trees in their fall foliage adds depth to it, as does the elevated position of the camera.  The stream flowing through the scene provides a pleasant s-curve that helps draw the eye into the photo.  The placement of the horizon above the Rule of Thirds adds emphasis to the land and all the textures.

I would have liked to see the dimensions of both of these photos doubled so it would have been easier to see some of the details.

Thanks for sharing the images.  Keep producing wonderful photos.

What a difference the picture is when you take your shot at different time of day. I like the sunset shots because they are so colorful. Nice job.

I took a trip to northern Arizona this past weekend to work on my low-light and nature photography. While I was there I took a tour into a popular canyon. As the tour guide was guiding us though the canyon, she started waving her flashlight to a dark canyon wall and told us to take a picture where the flash light was shining. This was the picture of that wall.

Picture was taken with my Canon Ti1
Mode: AP
F-Stop: f/5.6
