I like the sweeping flow of the water in your third shot.

What better subject for a grand scenic photograph than the Grand Canyon  Grin?
Shot these during a trip last April.  #4090 was shot midday, ASA 80, 1/40, f/8.0; focal length 36 mm, handheld.  I know middle of the day usually doesn't have the best light, but the shadows helped to give depth and shape to the canyon, and you can see the line that the Colorado River makes through the canyon.  Tried to include some foreground elements to add depth.

#4096 was taken around the same time from a different location, ASA 80, 1/160, f/5.0; focal length 55 mm, handheld.  You can see the light has changed and I included people in this shot to show the scale of the canyon.  The tree branches were included as foreground elements to add depth.

#4424 was taken as the sun set from Mohave Point; ASA 80, 1/20, f/7.1; focal length was 152 mm, tripod mounted.  The low angle of the sun really makes the colors of the canyon stand out, and I liked the horizontal bands in the background.

Please let me know how these photos could be improved.  Thanks!

I was visiting my mom in Louisiana, and didn't have much time to go out and shoot so shot this really quick.  Not the best since it's just a barn that belongs to one of her neighbors.

Barn-2 was shot late afternoon (maybe 530/6PM).

Barn-1 was shot later that night..If i recall it was roughly 9PM

This photo was taken down the street from my house. I pass it almost daily on my way to the bus stop. I feel the angle of the window adds an extra dimension to an otherwise ordinary situation. The camera used is a Canon Powershot SX150.

I walked around this old camper van several times, taking shots from various distances and angles. This close-up is the only one that evoked some emotion. I also liked the repetition of horizontal lines. I removed colour and added a touch of sepia colour to emphasize the age of the vehicle.

The TV setting was on your last picture correct or did you also use the TV setting for the 2nd picture?

Thanks for the comment. I enjoyed my trip to Antelope Canyon. It really gave me the chance to work on low-light photograhy with no flash.

A very interesting subject. I had to download the picture and then increase the size before I could distinguish the face in the photo. And there it is.

I think you captured the light and image well
