Title: going digital
Post by: chez60 on January 08, 2011, 09:50:19 AM
okay i'm new to this digital thing. I have been shooting for years on pentax cameras[K-1000]. So I am very interested in changing to digital slr type camera bodies. I have a couple of old lenses that I would like to keep and use on the new slr's. Not sure what is a good camera to buy. Any advise?

The Pentax K-x DSLR is getting decent reviews from users on Amazon and is priced around £350 so its not a bank breaker, also it will probably accept your old lenses.  Personally I can't recommend this camera having never used up and DPreview will be a good place to start reaserch into if it is the camera for you.

From what I have read the whole Pentax DSLR range seem to well thought of cameras so there a few to pick from.  Good luck and hope to see your pics soon.
