There is something about the light quality in the Lake District that really saturates colors.

I really like the second and third photos.  Both are well composed, restful images in which you appear to have exposure and depth of field near optimum.

The second photo is predominately two contrasting textures/colors of the green to yellow grass and brown (bracken covered?)  hills with leafless trees.  The diagonals of the stone walls add dynamic interest and mimic the lines of the background hills.
In the third photo, the morning sunlight playing across the land and trees in their fall foliage adds depth to it, as does the elevated position of the camera.  The stream flowing through the scene provides a pleasant s-curve that helps draw the eye into the photo.  The placement of the horizon above the Rule of Thirds adds emphasis to the land and all the textures.

I would have liked to see the dimensions of both of these photos doubled so it would have been easier to see some of the details.

Thanks for sharing the images.  Keep producing wonderful photos.

Beautiful sky in the first, colors and texture in the second.  The third almost looks painterly.  Nice job!
