I like the first picture better than the 2nd, maybe because in the 2nd I am getting distracted by the white object to the right of the dark object. Is this a photo of a rock? You did a good job on this assignment capturing the blurry to sharp back to blurry.

Nope it was tree bark off a Sweetgum and an Elmm tree
