Title: HDR assignments 1 and 2 Post by: Bob Bors on December 29, 2010, 12:15:16 AM I just got the HDR photography book after getting a new camera (sony a55). I had a Sony a200 for a few year. I do regular plant collecting trips and wanted the built in GPS. I saw some HDR pics on the internet and was suprised to see that my camera has some HDR functions.
I love to take pictures of sunrises and sunsets. Usually I ignore the ground since I don't see it anyway. but for the assignment I included more ground. The 2nd photo was taken using manual and based on the advice of the book, but it's cheating since the sony has an HDR function. The assignment was for "my favourite setup" but usually my favourite setup is automatic. But since this turned out nicely this is my new favourite setup. I'm hoping to learn how to retroactively do HDR on some of my past pictures and how to do it well in the future.
