Title: Chapter 4: Limit Depth of Field Post by: anne773 on February 08, 2012, 07:48:12 AM I took this picture of an angel in a local cemetery.
Shutter Speed : 1/640 sec Exposure: Aperture Priority F-Stop: f/5.6 ISO : 100 Focal length: 50.0 mm I wanted to isolate the angel from the background. If anything, you might have wanted a bit more depth of field. See how the angel's wings and shoulder actually are soft? I think you could have gotten away with stopping down further to get more of the angel statue sharp while keeping the background blurred out. Your thoughts on my photos are appreciated!

I'm also a member of Cambridge in Colour (http://www.cambridgeincolour.com). They have a much larger learning community forum there that can give you feedback on your other photos if you're interested. That way you just won't be getting feedback from one person :)
