Title: Chapter 3 -- Seeing the (Soft Window) Light
Post by: ganagr1 on January 02, 2012, 12:42:04 AM
I turned my flash off and let the soft window light wash upon Clara's dress, ribbons, and the flowers in her hair.

Nicely done.  What do you think about where the shadows have fallen around your daughter?

I would've liked the window light to fall higher on Clara's dress/hair instead of where it did fall.  Placement of the subject on my part could have been improved.

I mainly noticed the dark area on the right side of Clara's head which took away some of the detail of the ribbons and flowers.  The background could be considered a touch distracting but I like the overall concept of what you're trying to achieve.
