Title: Chapter 2 -- Backgrounds
Post by: ganagr1 on December 19, 2011, 03:57:20 PM
I placed Elyssa in front of an old, red barn as a background to her blue and white clothing.........a picture of an All-American country girl in her element.

Good job and you have a lovely subject.  The colours you've chose contrast well against the background.

Two things you might want to consider - the first is the chunk out of the fence on the left draws the eye to it - you may want to crop or edit that out.  The second is that the lines in the fence aren't quite vertical.  It's only a minor distraction however you may want to consider rotating the image slightly so the lines in the fence go straight up  and down.

Either way, very good shot with a natural and relaxed candid expression on your subject's face.
