Title: Chapter 9 Assignment - Cropping For Impact
Post by: goldcoastgolfer on November 14, 2011, 03:57:17 AM
These shots were of my daughter just before her dance recital.  I was trying to get a picture of her costume.  The first shot is a non-cropped version of the original frame I took a shot of.  The second shot is a slightly different post but cropped in a way that captures her outfit but limits removes some of the redundant background.  I think the cropped photo does a better job of highlighting my daughter and her outfit with the row of trees leading you to her in the shot.

Taken with a Nikon D7000 with a Sigma 17-70mm lens:

ISO: 100
Exposure: 1/320
Aperture: F/4
Focal Length: 36mm
Exposure Bias: 1/3
