Title: Chapter 8 Assignment - Families Post by: goldcoastgolfer on November 07, 2011, 12:41:35 PM I was at the beach on the weekend where ironically there was a photographer taking portraits of a family as I walked by. The beach itself was quite bright and the kids spent most of their time in the water. So in keeping with my more candid style, I took these shots as they were enjoying themselves - unfortunately no interesting light because it was mid-afternoon.
The first one is of my three kids in the water - the eldest attempting to paddle away from them on a surfboard with the two little ones chasing him. They were having fun and unfortunately some of the water spray got in the way of the face of the eldest - but I still like this shot in any case: Taken with a Nikon D7000 with a Tokina 28-210mm lens Focal Length: 56mm (84mm in 35mm format) Exposure Time: 1/1600 F Number: f/5 ISO: 400 Exposure Bias: 0 Title: Re: Chapter 8 Assignment - Families Post by: goldcoastgolfer on November 07, 2011, 12:45:40 PM This second shot is of the two eldest boys. I think it captures the bond between them.
