Title: Finding Light in the Night
Post by: InspiringFotos on October 25, 2011, 12:29:19 PM
I went to see the "World of Color" at California Adventure. I choose to do this lighting assignment at the World of Color because it was an opportunity to take a colorful nighttime picture. My challenges I faced was getting a steady colorful nighttime shot. This picture was taken on my tripod with my Kodak Z712 IS Zoom Digital, f/3.2, 1/40 sec. ISO-1250, 19 mm, no flash. Let me know your thoughts on this picture and how I can improve my lighting for my nighttime shots.

Just from my perspective, as pretty as the coloured lights in the water look they appear very bright to me.  I find my eyes needing to rest from having to look at them and focussing on the background instead because it's a bit less intense.

I'm still struggling with taking photos at night so take my comments with a grain of salt.
