Title: Ch2 Assignment - Depth of Field Post by: goldcoastgolfer on October 21, 2011, 11:58:42 PM I took this photo this morning of my son during a tennis match. I had my camera on shutter speed priority to try and capture some of the action which automatically set high aperture settings to limit the depth of field.
During this particular match my son accidentally smashed his racket against his shin, giving himself a very large lump and limiting his ability to walk, let alone run. I think the frustration and disappointment in his face is evident in the shot below. He knew he could play better but the combination of limited movement and pain from his leg distracted him during the game. Photo was taken with a Nikon D7000 and a (really old) Tokina 28-210 lens. The camera's a new toy for me - just arrived this week. The lens is off my old film SLR. Details of the shot were: F - f/5.6 Exposure Time - 1/640 Focal length - 210mm (315mm in 35mm) ISO - 200 Title: Re: Ch2 Assignment - Depth of Field Post by: InspiringFotos on October 27, 2011, 09:02:18 AM Ah yes, that is the sports pain look. Trying to focus on the game, but at the same time being distracted by the injury.
