John, if your other two lenses aren't zoom lenses, then a 70-200 f/2.8 might be good to have in your arsenal of lenses. But you're sure to let lots of differing opinions on this. Even from us! If you're taking good photos with the lenses you use now, yet another lens isn't necessarily going to help you take even better pictures. In fact, you could conceivably lose out on taking a great shot while in the middle of changing lenses, for example (which is another good argument for having a zoom lens). In a wedding photographer's perfect world, two cameras equipped with two lenses (one fixed. one zoom) is another way to go. And, it gives you a backup camera in case one should ever go on the fritz in the middle of a wedding. It takes time, but as you begin to profit financially from photographing weddings, you'll end up with the perfect arrangement.

Just some observations from my wedding (more than a few years ago now) - I think about the only time our wedding photographer would have needed a zoom lens was during the actual wedding ceremony.  For the remaining photos he was always positioning us so I don't think he actually ever needed a zoom for the more 'candid' shots'.  He just positioned us and then he moved back and forth as needed.

So if you've got a lens that takes care of taking photos of the ceremony such that you're not in the way, maybe your current set up is fine until you're established and have the funds to invest in better equipment.
