Title: Chapter 7: tell a story
Post by: NewMemories on January 21, 2011, 11:09:09 AM
This shot wasn't posed at all, it is all natural.  A friend was spinning her on some playground equipment and the little girl was loving every minute of it, as you can see by her smile.  I also like how the hand is blurred, telling you about the motion.

Nice picture, lovely expression, you can see the girls is having a lot of fun! The light on the little girl is a bit too bright though I think. But in these situations I think it's hard to take all into account or have the proper tools with you to solve these kind of problems.

I have a terrible time with outdoor photos!  My Nikon D300 was on fully manual and it was a bright, sunny day in the middle of summer, when I pointed my camera one way it was too dark and the other it was too light!  I fixed the worst of it using Picasa.

I know exactly what you mean, having trouble getting the light right as well. Picasa is a 'friend of mine too'  ;D. But I do understand you chose this picture, it is lovely in all other aspects!
