By smokeydawg (2007-09-14 15:17:50 ): Hi RoseAnn, When you do submit a print for comp to PPA, spend the extra for the critique dvd, it's WELL worth the extra money. You get excellant feedback on your images. They are really tough and notice EVERYTHING. It's also a great way to learn and I highly suggest entering a print or prints, (just as cheap to enter 4 as 1) just for the experience and feedback.

By smokeydawg (2007-09-14 14:16:48 ): I like this, nice tender moment between the two. Light on their faces is well done although the dress is approaching hot, would like to see a little more detail in the dress, but good detail in the tux. Tough lighting situation with the backlight, but overall handled well. I like his hand on / next to her elbow, but think I would have had him keep his other hand out of sight as all you can really see is his fingertips. The only other little thing is you can see the btm of the stems on the flowers, try having them use a hand to cover up the stems, tilt the top of the flowers out and btm of flowers in. Just suggestions and not really not trying to be picky, just some things I've done myself in the past and got dinged on in PPA competition.
