Tear of a Druid

Photographer's Comment: A tree in the Laumeir Sculpture Park in Fenton, MO . . . long(ish) exposure with just a touch of motion blur . . . came out better than I expected, would love to hear what you all think!

By Jim915 (2007-09-11 18:45:15 ): Well, I think the abstraction you've created is terrific. I love trying motion blurs and this one of yours is especially successful because of the bark patterns of the tree and your vertical camera movement. The dark "eye" gives this image life and because of that there is considerable mystery.

By mo (2007-09-11 12:21:47 ): I like it- it looks like a close up of a large animal, like I can reach out and feel the hair of a horse or cow....

By somagni (2007-09-11 10:27:33 ): A wonderful abstract. I see a horse's face.

By maureenyoung52 (2007-09-11 07:18:03 ): Ver interesting artistic interpretation.

By johnwillems (2007-09-11 00:51:31 ): A little bit abstract but very good texture and colours, als a modern veiw on the things. Very well done. From John.
