Photographer's Comment: An HDR composite of a Hawker Hurricane from the Vintage Wings collection. It's always difficult to get shots of aircraft without a lot of background clutter so I tried a low angle to avoid the crowds that were constantly milling around. I tried the HDR in order to balance the aircraft exposure against the sky/sun. Any comments appreciated.

By photomato (2007-09-07 03:45:37 ): I love this. Crispy, clean and militarily romantic if that makes any sense. Light is defining and almost biblical which is a very strange paradox. Clouds add frothy ethereal promise of what's to come once this beauty breaks free of it's earthly bo bonds.
