By greg-y (2007-09-07 03:58:06 ): I like this shot. There's a lot of history within those walls. I have never visited England, but i have been in other castles in Europe and they are amazing. You can't help but sence there power and history when you are about them. Nicely done.

By Isachsen (2007-09-06 12:48:30 ): A nice shot of the Tower of London. I know that you are new an unfamiliar to the wqeekly assignment, but please pay attention to what fellow member Jerry has posted on top of this page - first a time frame for when to shoot the pictures (o8/31/07-09/07/07) - then the GUIDELINES, what to do and what to NOT to do. The weekly assignment is a weekly challenge for us photographers where we are given new topics given every week. Within seven days we are supposed to solve the topics and shoot pictures that can be posted here with an added bonus of critique/comments. This is not a board to post pictures for critique only. Your London Tower picture was shot before the assignment started, and it doesn't qualify for this week's assignment. This is the closest a photographer can get what an actor, musician, a tennis player can do to improve and stay in shape. Often we go way outside our own comfort zone to solve a topic and shoot pictures. They may not always be prize winning material, but by doing these exercises every week - we will improve and become better photographers. Then walking around shooting also gives good and healthy exercise for both body and mind. We don't post these messages to be mean, just want to let you know how valuable it is to do the exercise in a proper way. So get out there and shoot, shoot and shoot - then post the good pictures. Also remember to give comments to other photographers' pictures posted at this page during the past week. It means much to most of us to get feedback. It is often as valuable to give a comment as to receive one. New topics for the coming week's exercise/workout will be announced by Jerry at the Photoforum page tomorrow (every) FRIDAY.
