Photographer's Comment: morning flight out of SEATAC recently . . . aside from getting home earlier, there is good reason for early morning flights.

By photomato (2007-09-03 00:21:45 ): Oh wow..this is beautiful. Look at all those tones, all those layers of dimension through the repetition of those horizontal mountain ranges. The mist is what gives it the mystery quotient. The layer of white clouds holds it all down and gives another layer of interest for the viewer to focus on.

By Jim915 (2007-09-02 17:38:29 ): Wow Dan, this is beautiful. It reminds me of scenes from the Great Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. I've always liked images with mountain tops poking above or through fog or smoke. Your image has a mystical feel to it.
