By JeannetteK (2007-08-24 14:32:03 ): Thanks Jan! I didn't see the #7 until after I posted it. These sunflowers are right at the edge of the road where the neighbors mailbox is at. Maybe I'll go back over tonight and reshoot.

By JeannetteK (2007-08-24 14:30:14 ): Thanks Carl! The sun was setting and I only snapped 3 photos. I was too tired to play more.

By JeannetteK (2007-08-24 14:25:08 ): Thanks Bea! It was a spur of the moment shot. I took it while out doing this week's assignment. Lately I have this thing for sunflowers and just decided to snap.

By Isachsen (2007-08-24 13:59:53 ): Pretty flower, but the sign with number 7 takes too much of my attention away from the beautiful flower. Take time to check the background before shooting. We all make such mistakes from time to time (hey, I never said that - he,he) and make sure that unwanted objects are out of the frame. It is easily done (clean up the frame) by moving to one side, or up or down a bit with the camera.

By smokeydawg (2007-08-24 13:30:39 ): Good flower image, but as Bea said there are SO many of these, experiment with different angles, pov's, go in close, etc. Make it fun most of all. I like experimenting on flowers when trying out new techniques or just having fun and playing. I get about 1 good one out of about every 40 or 50 I shoot.

By BeatriceFriedli (2007-08-23 22:57:43 ): pretty flower. Thing is, there are a ton of sunflower images. Try to think of a different angle or pov as well as blurring out some of that BG leaves to grab the viewers more. Just, something different if you can ? A challenge per say :D
