By GailV (2007-08-07 21:27:14 ): The portrait is great--the expression is fun, too. I think the white blob is too much. It does focus the viewer's attention on the face (which is well-lighted). The gray blobs with just a mild increase in light behind the head might work.

By Isachsen (2007-08-07 19:44:59 ): What you have done with the background looks too artificial to me, especially with this lovely boy and his expression. The face should have all the attention here, and not the background, which here takes on a religious effect (or what people often imagine is religious.)

By maureenyoung52 (2007-08-07 02:10:28 ): LOVE THE EYES!!! Not crazy about the backroundand the strange effecton the left side of the picture. I think I would like his natural skin better.
