We'll stay out of the fray and suggest that you may use whatever tools you feel are necessary to complete the assignment in the style and manner you are accustomed to. - text of PWS.
By Isachsen (2007-07-24 06:25:25 ): See, John, what you are doing (grin?!) You are stirring up the viewers' minds. That is what I like with photography - especially to look at pictures that provoke me in a positive or negative way. Keep up the good work my friend!
By njcroe1959 (2007-07-23 21:47:01 ): I am not sure what the artist is conveying. His comments don't help this viewer out in that regard.
The image is very interesting to look at. To me the main focus of the image is on the words and not the rubber cow.
I do believe that what this image needs is a good cropping. The rubber cow is to close to the center of the image. I would crop across the lift side and top. I would also try to do something with remove the reflect of the bush of the rubber cow. The eye is led out of the image because the white run out on the right top side. Try making this darker to keep the eye from leaving your image.
I hope you find this helpful.
By smokeydawg (2007-07-23 15:54:46 ): I like the abstract quality to this, but not sure I'm getting what you are trying to say.
By Isachsen (2007-07-23 06:44:16 ): He, he, I suspcted all along that it could have been a cow. Lovely pasture too. And the cow still looks down on the "Road to Hell" or some other place where you are more likely to find serious trouble. Well, I better stop now before the people in white lab coats find me, and put me in the dungeon. John, thanks for your contributions. They provoke our minds into thinking - by the way, a very good thing these days (grin!)
By jimdstearns (2007-07-23 02:45:57 ): Hello John, first of all I do not read other people’s critique prior to doing a critique. I like to do my thing. This helps me to learn also…:o)). Afterward, I review other critiques.
Did not vote for him….:o), He should have occupied himself with his peanuts ….!!! Where you going with this image?
By GailV (2007-07-22 22:42:45 ): Huh? I don't get it.
By KBittancourt (2007-07-22 20:47:11 ): Perhaps "Jimmy" does not agree with the cow. If so, the image portrays indenpendant thinking. No CoWs!
